Florida Baptist Convention Annual, 1911, William Dudley Chipley (June 6, 1840-December 1, 1897) was born in Columbus, Georgia, the son of Dr. His father was the superintendent for the United Fruit Company, and making pretty good money (Contemporary, 1993). Based on just life expectancies alone, that would make the probability unlikely they lived during the writing of the first gospel, and extremely unlikely any of them lived during the writing of the last gospel (and I have used only the most conservative numbers).
