Bach's famous "Air on the G String" (BWV 1068 No. 2) for five trombones: one soprano, three tenors, one bass. Tip for Yamaha (and some other) trumpets: the valves are numbered (1, 2 or 3) on the spring casing (just above where you oil the valves). Good trombone players are considered very valuable assets by band teachers since there are so few of them. Nice clarity and articulation, probably because of the combination of metals on the slide. $1300 without case Top of the line Wllson F Tuba, 5/4 slze, very similar to the Yamaha Jim Self model.

This Gen II 62H is not the same design as the classic TIS model 62H, but it is still a quality bass trombone. To me, the sound is more modern, packs a more compact punch and is a bit cleaner with distinct clarity... sure, it's not a vintage 62H, but it gets the job done and it does it well and with style, all while maintaining the magical warmth of the "Conn Sound" Four Songs for Trombone & Piano. This doesn't usually cost much, and the result is usually almost as good as new (perfect repair requires refinishing the instrument, which is not usually cost effective) Alessandro Stradella (Overture): Trombone 1, 2 and 3 parts (Qty 2 each) [A5505]. According to Don Bilger, Grinnell trombones are most probably stencil-lines produced by one of the major manufacturers for Grinnell Brothers. It appears that Grinnell Brothers was a Detroit music store chain known for making good upright pianos - in the mid-1970s most of the practice room pianos were Grinnells at Michigan State University. To the best of Don's knowledge, however, Grinnell Brothers never produced their own trombones Arlekinada (Pas de deux): Trombone 2 part (Qty 2) [A8907]. The number of vibrations per second is called the frequency (f). It is measured in cycles per second or Hertz (Hz). The pitch of a note is almost entirely determined by the frequency: high frequency for high pitch and low for low. 440 vibrations per second (440 Hz) is heard as the note A in the treble clef, a vibration of 220 Hz is heard as the A one octave below, 110 Hz as the A one octave below that and so on Music from Titanic: Trombone.
