Brautigan's vision of life and imagination aborted is painfully unwavering, but the style of this bulk of the book shifts from the sustained rhythm of dreams in the library to a fading realism that is often no more than warmed-over Hemingway. Without its life-giving metaphor The Abortion fails Cruel Beauty. I keep thinking Linda Howard, but I just don't know... I remember checking it out from the library, but I checked their catalog & I don't think its there. Thank-you for any help you guys can give pdf. I do remember a passage where the woman has a hologram of the object in her office and the man comes in and says "woah, you have the__?!" I also remember a scene at the end of the book where the main female character is hanging off a cliff after fighting with another character. Pretty vague but hope someone can help! >378 mmarcy: This is the 3rd in the Wind Dancer series by Iris Johansen download. My love of history began when I read a historical novel by the wonderful Jean Plaidy called the Thistle and the Rose. It concerned the marriage of King James IV of Scotland and Margaret Tudor, sister to King Henry VIII The Mark of the Golden Dragon: Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Jewel of the East, Vexation of the West (Bloody Jack Adventures). I have been looking for this book for years. I read it over 15 years ago so it is an older book. The man is wearing a billowy pirate like shirt and tight breeches. It was a paperback and it was about 250-300 pages long at the most. Looking for a regency romance trilogy book. It's about a child left at the three gentlemen's residency with only a note that says the child's father lives there Pride and Prejudice (Spinebreakers). She h works for an arrogant (I think some genius, self made) CEO who for some reason does not show her his face. I think hero's H name was Oliver or William, don't remember exactly. H makes her life not so easy at her work Cruel Beauty. I'm surprised I don't have it, considering I've collected 25 Johanna Lindsey novels so far. But I'm 25, and it's been at least 9 years since I read it, and I didn't even actually own any books back then. I am SO going out tomorrow to look for it Cleopatra's Moon. Although these are later historically than my usual fare of Regency, Francesca Cahill is a captivating heroine/sleuth with a wonderfully diverse cast of supporting characters and some hot romantic triangles. 2. Although I haven’t been a huge fan of her more recent work, The Bridgerton series is top notch historical romance writing–funny, great characters and sweet love stories. 3. Thank you Hi, I am a new member and I have a couple of books I am looking for. I will start with the most important one and see if anyone remembers this. Ok here goes: This book is set in England, it is part of a three book series and this is the last book I believe We Hear the Dead. In fact, it appears to view only England and Scotland as being of any real importance: the lion of England and the unicorn of Scotland together support the royal shield. Ireland is represented by the harp in one of the quarters and Wales does not feature at all The Mirk and Midnight Hour. Girl goes back home to an island or isolated coastline, where the only home other than her family's house is owned by the family of her childhood sweetheart. She never received answers to her letters, and thought for years that he had blown her off, but learned on returning that the two families had conspired to send her away and steal their letters and break up their romance The Druid Stone (Forget-me-not). An older fantasy romance that I read like probably 10 years ago Josephine (Kimani Tru). In fact, he’s a little irritated at the prospect of delivering her to her kin The Memory of Things: A Novel.
